Does anyone know of inexpensive 4 zone amp that can be controlled via IR
All I need from IR is On/Off/V.Up/V.Dn.

Client currently using Integra amp with second zone connected to speaker selector driving 6 or 7 rooms worth of speakers.
He tells me that 4 of those rooms are never used but still.

My goal is to give him aux amplifier that has 4 rooms (8 channels) worth of amplification. Yes, I'm still going to re-use the speaker selector for the rooms that he says he never uses.

I'm also trying to convince him to get URC's TC controller (1280 most likely), thus the need/want for IR control.

Budget is of cause an issue.
When I told him that in the past I've installed several 8 and 12 channel Russound Amps (R850 and R1250) and the cost used to be around $900 for the smaller and $1200-1300 for the larger, he first said "forger about it" but after some persuasion he said he might be able to swing $1000 but no more.

I can use the trusted R1250 from Russound but it only has trigger In for zone On/Off.
I see that Xantech has a PA1235 12-Channel, 6-Zone Power Amplifier with IR Control, but that's probably outside the budget.

Anything else you guys used that does 4-6 rooms, 8Ω and basic IR control?
