I'm fairly certain Brendon did not change the title from 4x1 to 1x4. I think it was always posted as 1x4.

If you are in this business, you would have to be a complete moron to not know what a 1x4 or 4x1 SWITCH does, regardless of whether it is written as 1x4 or 4x1. The difference between a switch and a splitter is pretty self explanatory. Sometimes you just need to stop looking for things to nitpick and just read what is there and use your brain to determine what is implied.
