McNasty, is the replacement good enough to do it for a client and charge him? Or, is this good enough for a hobbyist and his own remote only?

I have a client's broken CHAD and I can read all the Samsung numbers (very dimly) but cant tell if it is a
-3A or -3B. How critical is it to get the A or B?
