This has probably been asked a zillion times but I am looking for a new remote to replace my Logitech Harmony One. I am looking for something that is easily programmable (by me-I was a software engr in a previous life and I do know that a macro is and what if-then-else means.) has a large device library and customizable. One example is if I turn on my receiver I would like to be able to set the volume to a low setting when it is turned on or if I finish watching a dvd and just want to normal tv using the tv it is smart enough to know that the receiver and dvd are on so go ahead and turn them off but leave the tv on and turn on the cable box and switch the tv to the proper hdmi port. Basically add a tad bit of intelligence to things. Also would like it to be able to add new devices or swap devices out without too much trouble. Example would be to change my tv from a sony to a Samsung 4k. Is this too much to ask or am I barking at the moon. The budget is around $400-$500 depending on capability.
