If I want to program macros on the MX-650 (not pc programmable). Is there any way to prevent the tv to turn off every time I go from one activity to the other? I mean since there is no independent command for on and off. My tv is a LG Plasma model 60PK550.
You will have to speak with a dealer to get the software (if they agree to provide it, ask first!!!). The program is not available for download to end users, so if you found it online, it would be an illegal copy and download.
If the MX650 does not have discrete power on and off commands, then I believe you are out of luck as I do not believe you can update the library on that remote. I have never worked with it though, so I could be wrong, but I do not think I am.
