I am very interested in hearing how it turns out for you. I am still undecided in what I want to do. I think the key for me will be deciding what I want to do with the remote, I have been using the RTI Theater Touch instead.

I did not have any problems making the cuts on the screen holder or the battery case. Neither are visible from the outside of the case and I do not think it signifigantly changed the structural stability either. The cuts were very easy to make with an exacto knife.

I have a couple of pictures at [Link: madravings.com] that show where I made the cuts. I have a lame digital camera so they did not come out great, but you still get the idea.
