I have used both the MX-900 and 810 editors on Windows 7. Since the MX-880 standalone editor was discontinued some time ago, I'm not sure if it will work with Windows 7. Check the file folder and see if there are Windows Vista USB drivers. If they are there, it will probably work with Win 7.
I have not used the stand alone 880. That is old. All others work In win 7 64.
You're taking you luck with anything in windows 8. You are shooting yourself in the foot with windows 8.1. I don't what Microsoft did that, but it is a hot mess. Internet explorer 11 did enough to break urc already.
