Sony is unbelievable. I had 1 rep that didn't know what I was talking about and just hung up, others said codes don't exist, 1 said that I didn't need any codes because the remote controlled the projector.

One email said I needed to follow a link and specify the country I was in because they only handled America - the form I filled out included my address :) which was Tennessee. Then I got an email with what I posted above. Got another email later that has code protocols, etc but no pronto style hex formats.

Last email from Sony yesterday pointed me back to Remote Central to this thread :) and said they could not guarantee that these codes work.

Well. Thanks for the buzz Sony. :-). Hilarious.

Would you mind posting the link to that protocol sheet Sony sent you. That will actually tell us a lot. And we can likely generate all codes from it rather than hazing to x-learn from a database that may or may not be accurate.
