You can try a
powered
USB hub. It seemed to clear up most of my problems with it randomly working.
Plug the Pronto directly into the computer USB port and everything else into the hub.
If you have another port on the opposite side of the computer you can try and use that also.
It could be the USB is being split and the power requirements are not there.
