If you don't already have one,
get a $6 Comcast remote
(or other cable remote made by UEI), and use setup code 11317.
Use the
994 command
to program buttons of your choosing with the following EFCs:
PowerOff 42309
PowerOn 43333
If you don't already have one, <a href="http://www.ebay.com/itm/XFINITY-MOTOROLA-COMCAST-REMOTE-CONTROL-DIGITAL-NEW-/161108165127?pt=US_Remote_Controls&hash=item2582cb8207">get a $6 Comcast remote</a> (or other cable remote made by UEI), and use setup code 11317. Use the <a href="http://hifi-remote.com/wiki/index.php?title=Manual_Programming_-_9xx_Commands#Program_Effective_Function_Code_.28EFC.29_for_a_single_device">994 command</a> to program buttons of your choosing with the following EFCs: PowerOff 42309 PowerOn 43333
