It's a two step process to import a remote that was programmed in the dedicated editor into CCP.

First, you have to extract the program out of the remote. It will end in .mxg, .mxj, etc. depending on the remote model.

Second, you have to open up CCP and start a new remote and when the New Remote dialog box pops up, select Open Existing File as Template and then browse to where your .mxg file is. This will import that file type into CCP and let you save it as part of a project with .ccp as the suffix.

Transporter, in my experience, lets me import devices and their associated code sets but rarely do the macros and graphics come with it.

I've not had good luck with uploading a non-.ccp file out of a remote with CCP so I could open it and convert it otherwise. I have been able to open Windows Mobile Device Manager and browse the files as the MX980 is closely related to a WinCE PDA.
