do you have the original file from the mx980 editor?  or are you trying to retrieve the file from the remote?

if you have the file, it can be easily imported into CCP using the transporter function.

if you don't have the file, it is possible that you have to retrieve it using the mx980 editor with the remote plugged into the computer.  then you would use the transporter to import the file into CCP.

on some remotes programmed with the older editors, it isn't possible to retrieve the file using CCP unless the firmware in the remote is updated.  and the only way to update the remote, is to send a file to it, which would wipe out the program on the remote.
