Lesson for the day:

The "C" in HDCP does not refer to "copy". It refers to "content". In fact, I would bet that the translation of the anagram is probably as widely misused as the term "balun" when referring to an HDMI extender. High Definition Copy(right) Protection? Wrong again. BZZZZ! High bandwidth Digital Content Protection? There ya go.
