Im a fan of nad. And yes ive had a couple of problems but found there support very good. Their lower end equipment does just the basics but if you want more just go higher up the spec chain.
There rs232 commands are a bit annoying as they outsourced their protocol commands for various different units so there is a slight incompatability, for instance we upgraded a t748 for t757 and had to completely rewrite the demopad commands
