OK. I have the OEM remote here. Is there a tutorial to find the discreet code?

Most of the necessary codes Vizio TV's have already been posted.

To find discrete codes, in short (I think)

You would use the OEM remote (or a IR protocol sheet)

To use the OEM remote, you would learn some of the codes and again, run them into a program to find which protocol, device, subdevice, and function they are.

Post 1 is (copy/pasted) example of an IR protocol sheet.

You would then use a program (like IRScrutinizer) to generate all 255 possible codes for that code set. Then you would take these codes and fire them at the device and write down how the device responds.

Most of the hard work has been done for you. The other option is to see if the manufacturer has a code sheet for all of their available discretes or to use different existing databases where this work has already been done.

What we need is a learned code from the OEM remote for the 3d code. Does your remote have a 3d button. Do you have the ability to learn that into a computer programmable remote?
