I installed my first MRX-1 on my own system using an iphone 5. I love it...until...I get an error message upon opening the app that reads, "THE REGISTERED MRX BASE STATION WAS NOT FOUND ON YOUR NETWORK. PLEASE VERIFY THAT YOU ARE CONNECTED BY WI-FI TO THE SAME NETWORK AS THE MRX."

I am using a similar app to control a Yamaha receiver that does not have this issue. The receiver is connected to the same ethernet switch as the MRX-1 in the rack.

If I turn off the wi-fi on the iphone 5, then back on again, it seems to solve the problem.

My network skills are basic, but tech support has advised me to change to a static ip address for the MRX-1. I did, but it does not seem to help. Other tech support personnel suspect a network or iphone issue.

Any ideas?
