A person who owns the business or depends upon the system working to get paid for the work is much more likely to notice and keep that blade sharp than the guy who is paid by the hour to install.

That's true. I have been trying for years to get people to use the right term for these. There are adaptors, baluns, and extenders, and people just won't take the time to understand which they are using... meaning that if there is a problem they have no idea which of the three totally different devices to troubleshoot.

And we have had the problems with the EZ connectors. The issue is the blade gets dull and does not cleave the end off of the conductors well enough. The result is the connector will not fit into the socket flush and you get unreliable connections.

Thanks. I've never seen that explained.
