Actually I use URC stuff to provide perfectly working control systems. As a result I have created a long line of happy customers that refer us to their friends who also are now happy URC owners. My own house has perfectly working URC gear. My folks house has perfectly working URC gear. My sister's house has perfectly working URC gear. And of course the previously mentioned clientele with perfectly working URC gear. I also have some clients with gear from another name brand in the universal remote world. Every one of those jobs has faulty gear and/or firmware creating unusable gear.
