I want to replace an aging URC MX950 with a 250 RF/IR converter. I can program myself, but find this MX950 discontinued and am ready for an upgrade.

I don't need all the available features and found this remote somewhat difficult to program, but it may be more tricky with this particular remote. Seems it is not compatible with Windows 7 anyhow.

Have been out of touch with programmable remotes for several years though I can still access the URC installer's site and I have some computer programming skills.

I need RF as my gear is in another, though adjacent room. No more than 12 feet from the viewing area, but though a sheetrock wall.

Denon AV, Sony BDP BX510 Blu Ray (Wifi but I have it hardwired with LAN). Ben1 w1070 3d link projector, 180" Daylight screen. HT room completely light controlled.

It would be ok to use the present MRF 250 (URC RF to IR) if possible, but would be fine to replace/upgrade.

Possibilities are Xsight Touch; R50 URC; maybe Harmony.

Appreciate advice from some people who are in touch with current remotes!
Kind regards
Bill
