I was told this is a bug in the latest I.d. 9 releases. I'm unable to use system recovery with an xp6 or t3v+
Had the same issue with a T2c+, nearly bricked the thing! Was told it was a Windows issue w/ USB driver- and it's 'particularly bad with Lenovo'. Ran back to the shop for HP laptop (both W7-64bit) and did not have the issue... Boggles the mind.
