So, I have a spotlight above the garage that is a motion light. It's attached to a switch I'd like to change out to a Crestron one to gain control of, But, I'm not sure if there is a better way to do it. I want to be able to see it's state. Do you think the best option is to get a separate motion sensor and use an i/o?
The problem is that snow and car lights trigger it sometimes, and if its left off in the basement, we never turn it on. If we leave it on, some nights its on all night. So I want to be more energy efficient.
