Yes. I could power toggle my Yamaha RX-V471 using the PWR key on the DirecTV remote. The yamaha is controlled through AV1 right now. So I used to press the "on" button on the top right to turn TV and DVR on, then slide to AV1, press PWR and things were all good. Then when finished, pressed the "off" on the top right to turn TV and DVR off, then slide to AV1 and press PWR to turn the yamaha off.

Now, I've lost the lost the ability to power toggle with the PWR button in AV1 mode. I can only power on OR off (depending on what code I have..one or two will work for on and one or two will work for off).
