I'm not clear on if you are just using the blaster or emitters, so I will explain what to do assuming you are using emitters, which you should 100% absolutely do. The little piece you place on the tv is called an emitter, not blaster. The blaster is built into the basestation which just shoots signal out the front of the unit. I can't remember if the MX450 allows you to turn on the blaster or not. Do you have the remote set correctly with the tv set for RF and is it assigned to that emitter port? Can you see the emitter flashing? It has to be placed in a specific spot to work. If its off even the slightest, it might not work. Also, it's usually best to turn the intensity up all the way on the emitter port.
