Thank you for your replies. As it turned out, a remote from walmart worked just fine. I ended up buying this little thing [Link: walmart.com] and it worked like a charm. I told you that I didn't need any special functions, I only intended to control volume and power. This is exactly what you would expect from this 5$ chinese piece of plastic. An original remote from pioneer (some of you suggested that I buy it) is a bit too expensive (19$ plus shipping 15$(yeah, I know, ridiculous, right?) which is roughly 35$). The codes that you told me would not work so I just did an auto search on a remote and it found it. So, anyway, thank you again, you gave me some options and opinions and I truly appreciate it!!
