Even with a new machine we end up without a complete solution so it's not worth the expense. The goal is to make each machine an individual video zone. Client selects "Cable TV" at machine 2 and the display turns on and they have control of the cable box volume etc. "Room Off" turns everything off. The new machine still requires manual selection of the video "app" on the machine.

Normally we put typical displays on the wall in work out rooms. This workout room is a small building outside of the main house "gym". It has class all the way around and vaulted ceilings. There isn't any place to fix mount the TV's and no place to have them pop/drop out of. We were going to connect each machine to basic cable but the cable company requires a cable box. So if we have to have a box and remote anyway we might as well give them access to every source in the house.

There is a new product out that would have worked well. TV's could have rested in the corners when off and brought exactly where we needed them when on. http://www.trak-kit.com/
