I recently managed to get my hands on a Denon AVC-A1SR amp, I have the remote but unfortunately the touchscreen is smashed and not working.

It only has a select few buttons which i can only really use for mute and volumes.

The Remote is an RC-871 (UK) Or RC-8000 (US)



Minimum requirements would be power, volume and input selection. It is a pretty old amp so not entirely sure what might be available. The remote has a usb slot on the bottom and i think i'm correct in thinking that i can copy the firmware and then put it onto another device?

Also wouldn't be against replacing the broken touch screen if there was a somewhere to get the component from.

I'm new to the world of remotes so any patience with me would be appreaciated.

Ideally like to keep costs to a minimum
