This old forum thread describes 'concordance', 'congruity' and modifications (on *IX and MS-Windows):

I am pleased to report that it is possible to build 'concordance' (libconcord and the command-line tool 'concordance') on Cygwin, with a fair amount of tweaking and kludges, but it does work:

root@d610 ~
# concordance -i
Concordance 1.0
Copyright 2007 Kevin Timmerman and Phil Dibowitz
This software is distributed under the GPLv3.

Requesting identity: 100% done
Model: Logitech Harmony 880 (Espresso)
Firmware Version: 4.0
Hardware Version: 1.8.0
Config Flash Used: 92% (1769 of 1920 KiB)

Success!

The host O/S is:

CYGWIN_NT-5.0 d610 1.7.10(0.259/5/3) 2012-02-05 12:36 i686 Cygwin
(Windows 2000)

libusb is:
libusb-win32-bin-1.2.6.0

n.b. This software permits managing the Harmony without installing any manufacturer-supplied software or driver.

Thanks to all of the devs for a lot of hard work.

Building the software requires building 'zziplib-0.13.59' which involves some ugly hacks, and the concordance package also requires hacks and kludges but in the end the build is clean and working. Your build environment may vary considerably from mine so my changes may not apply but I will email a tarball to those who could benefit.

Michael

Edit: As a bit of clarification, configuration is done at 'members.harmonyremote.com' (for most of the Harmony models) and files are served for download; save those files and use 'concordance' to install them on the remote. 'concordance' will confirm success to the website at each install step and the website will advance to succeeding pages in the process.
