Ok a few possibilities here.
1. Heat; are the products in a well vented location with nothing right on top?
2. ESD; Any surges or spikes? These usually come from a device with a Coax/Ethernet cable connection.
3. Overall poor 110 Volt grounding.
If you have seen multiple failures it is most likely one of the above and will continue until the actual cause is identified and corrected.
