First unlock the cable setup codes:
1) Press Setup until 2 blinks
2) Enter 982
This toggles the cable setup lock. When the remote blinks 4 times, it is unlocked. If it blinks twice, it is locked, so do steps 1 and 2 again.
Next assign setup code Cable 1376:
1) Press Cable
2) Press Setup until 2 blinks
3) Enter 1376
The remote should blink twice.
