I am new to Crestron. I came in today and was handed a multi-conference AV project to bid. Oh and by the way it is due tomorrow.

I came across Crestron Digitalmedia. I read through the design guide and watched the videos online about how it works. I feel I have a good base and that I can get this completed with relative ease. But I still have a few questions.

The Client would like to have a 75'x25' large conference room turned into three 25'x25' smaller conference rooms using partitioned walls. they want the ability to have these rooms work independently as smaller conference rooms as well as one large space or any combonation. there will be one projector and 5 TVs total.

In speaking with Crestron sales/tech support this is a list of equipment they came up with.

-DM-MD-8X8 with two DMCO-55 and five DMCO-C cards for the outputs and input
-DM-RMC-100-C for the Room Boxes
- CP3 for the controls system
- AMP 3210T - Amp for Audio
-SAROS-1C6T - speakers
-CEN-SW-POE-16 Switch
-TSW-750 touchscreens
DM-TX200-C-2G Wall plates

I have figured out most of what to do. but the questions I have are:

-Is there technical programming/commissioning involved? (they act like there really isnt any in the videos, but the EDID and SIMPL software look like proprietary items)

- What connections do I need for the CP3 to the 8X8? (it looks like both of these are connected to the LAN)

- Do I connect the CP3 to the Amp? (It doesnt look like it)

any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated. I thank you for your time.
