Thank you for your input. If I press the Vol. up button multiple times the volume does increase, however it goes to channel 8 continuously. I did not use punchthroughs when programming the remote. However, I will check the settings again. I have deleted the programming for the button numerous times and started over. I have tried saving the IR code again, using other Denon Receiver volume up commands that worked when tested, learning from the actual Denon Remote, and learning from my pronto. I did not have this problem with my old Comcast HD Box and pronto (I now have a different box). The Comcast IR code set I used for programming was XFINITY XR 2, codeset 195.
