Not sure where you would have it serviced in the UK. Perhaps others will chime in. That being said, you could take the remote apart and disconnect/reconnect the screen cable. Perhaps something worked loose. Replacing the screen yourself if that's the issue might be a possibility as well. I've completely disassembled my TSU9600 before and it would be simple to replace the screen if needed. Haven't taken a TSU9400 apart before, but there is a post here outlining how to do so.
