Hi guys,

I am almost done programming a MX-780 that I bought for a second room and am interested in learning what the best way is to have a device turn off when switching activities and it is no longer being used. For example if I switch from Blu-ray to Cable, how can I make sure that Blu-ray turns off.

I have figured out variables and macros, but am not sure how to use variables to make unused devices turn off when switching activities. This seems like a really basic feature (every Harmony seems to have it) but I can't figure it out.

I'm hoping to be able to do something like:

When switching to cable:
1) Check if Blu-ray is on, turn it off
2) Check if Media PC is on, turn it off
3) Check if PS3 is on, turn it off

How would I go about accomplishing something like this? I hope the answer isn't "that's one feature Harmony has which your remote doesn't" :)
