Why did you go to a public forum to complain about a product, rather than to the manufacturer? That should be the first choice. If you think someone will want to help after you dump shit all over them, you're wrong. You should return the DVR and find something else because they'll never satisfy you.
If one of your clients went to a public forum to complain about you because their system failed and it was because you chose materials/equipment that failed, would you be pissed off?
