OK, so I'm up and running RS232 on both the receiver and BD player. Working well, just got one problem:
The Bluray player won't turn on via RS232. Once it is actually on (via front panel or IR via factory remote), all other commands work fine. Navigation, arrow keys, etc. Even power off works fine via RS232.
Just can't get power on. Here is the hex string I am passing for power on:
\x0207CF60\x03
I've double checked my port settings, making sure I'm sending the command out the correct port, made sure Network Control is turned on in BD settings (does that matter for RS232? Or only IP control?).
Going back Monday to troubleshoot some more. Any thoughts on what to look at?
