Maybe it's time, since people might still be getting land lines in these trailers, to introduce them to the internet. It's not THAT expensive on top of a land line and it completely opens all video communications options to them.
Pay for internet and do what they want to do, including possibly calling the police during a theft. Don't pay for the internet and accept losses such as they have had. How much more would a guard cost? Some sites hire 24 hour guards and internet HAS to be cheaper than that!
