I have been researching Videofied for the same purpose. My potential client have the same situation, no internet. With videofied you still need cell phone reception since it works off GSM, but it uses batteries for power. It is a little pricey though so some of my competitors rent the units out.
Well, I am meeting with the builder today to see how he would like to proceed. The earthcam company is going to do a live demo with the builder today to show him the advantages of the sofware. It is really pretty cool. Super pricey though.
