The title says it all.

My Samsung 60" LED TV is wall mounted above a fireplace with its horizontal centerline 7 feet up while the rest of my gear is in a 4' tall floor standing audio rack about 5 feet to the right of the TV.

While seated in a center position 15 feet from all this, will the MX-890 control it properly without having to precisely aim the device at the particular component, or would you recommend IR emitters on each piece of gear?

I previously had an MX-850 that had very good IR dispersion. I was hoping the newer MX-890 would be just as good.
