i chopped up my animated gif into several separate images then created a page for each of them in the program. using jumps, i put the animation back together by flipping from one page to the next.
the mx890 is fairly slow to flip pages, so I had to play with the number of page jumps in order to get the delay time between TV power On, and the TV input commands. 22 page flips turned into a delay of a bit over 10 seconds, which was perfect for the TV i was working with.
if i had a remote that needed 10 seconds to do a macro because of the TV, i would definitely be throwing that remote through the TV in frustration.
