Ok, I made the changes to the wire and now I get back a response from the TV! However, I'm not sure how to interpret this response. The TV is on, and I send this command to turn off the TV:

{08}{22}{00}{00}{00}{01}{D5}

I then get a response:

{7E}{5E}{40}{BF}{5E}{40}{BF}{5E}{40}{BF}{5E}{00}{BF}{5E}{40}{BF}{5E}{40}{BF}{5E}{00}

The TV itself does not turn off nor change state at all. The information I found on the web says that I should expect a 3 byte packet returned with {03}{0C}{F1} meaning success and {03}{0C}{FF} meaning failure.

Any ideas?
