You will have to try it and see what you get. A pro likely would not offer it to a client but a hobbyist could burn a buncha time to see if it would work. It is not remote dependent but completely dependent on how the TV responds.
There is no truth anymore. Only assertions. The internet world has no interest in truth, only vindication for preconceived assumptions.
