Stay away from the 1403 unless you are positive you don't need up conversion. The 5007 is an awesome receiver, the 1603 isn't too shabby either, but for $200 you get more inputs and more power.

I've sold a good amount of marantz since 2007, the line has been good to me, and very few issues.
