I was thinking this too, but he did say he used the blaster. Obviously that is not as reliable, but should work if placed properly. I think the real fix starts with a Y and ends in a A ;-)
i thought he was talking about the front blaster, not an emitter.
and i fail to see what Jedi Master Yoda has to do with this. :)
