Hello.

I'm looking to see if anybody might have a set of working commands strings for a Lexicon MC-8 AV processor, or even some assistance in converting the information in their documentation to working command strings. I'm programming an RTI system for an existing theater, and I have never worked with the Lexicon. From an old post ([Link: remotecentral.com]) that I found, the power on data string looks like this:

\xF1\x04\x14\x01\x18\xF2

To the best of my knowledge: F1 is the start bit, 04 is number of bytes following, 14 is the command (which is not a command code anywhere in the Lexicon documentation), 01 is the number of data bytes, 18 is an IR code (power on in the Lexicon doc), and F2 is the close.

Following the post with that command string, the OP said that it worked. The thread was from 2009, so the documentation may have changed since then.

The Lexicon doc is here, in case somebody wanted to take a look...

Anyone have any input on this?

Thanks in advance for any assistance!
