Thank you this was very helpful. The only small twist I would add to this is when you open Properties you can in fact also click Run As An Administrator in teh check box at the bottom. Then just connect your RU980 or whatever after the application is up and running. I really appreciate the assistance as I do not have an XP system any longer.
