This may have been addressed already somewhere in the past. If so, please do not hesitate to chastise me and point me to an existing thread.
My DirecTV HD DVR has several functions that can be activated by pressing a key on the remote for 3 seconds.
I would like to emulate this on my Pronto 2000 without having to press the corresponding button on the Pronto's screen for the required time. Is there a way to program the Pronto to send an IR code for an extended period of time with no delays? And, if the answer is yes - by adding a learned IR to the action list several times, how do I determine the corrrect number of entries to equal 3 seconds?
If the answer is another method, please explain the method.
Another thing I just thought of - will the Pronto charging base work with standard, rechargeable NiMH AA batteries as well as the Pronto battery pack?
Thanks for any constructive ideas/thoughts.
