Here are the models that can be learned into a pronto remote. lifestyle 28, 38 , and 48. The Bose media receiver will blast an IR signal that can be learned by a Pronto. You have to select a button that you want to learn so that the media receiver can blast the corresponding signal. In order to be able to do this you must go into the settings menu and cursor over to IR control. The first selection says "learn IR". You select "yes". And then you can proceed to learn to your pronto.
