We are in the proces of building a new office which will have classrooms and conference rooms. We are going to have all the audio/video automation using Crestron. I just had a couple of questions if someone could answer for me.
In the conference rooms they will each have a Sharp 70" Led 1080p TV model#Sharp LC-70LE640U which will be mounted on the wall.
Now my first question is on the quote is calls for a Crestron QM-RX Quickmedia Receiver. I'm assuming the TV plugs into Quickmedia Receiver using a VGA connection and then coming out of the Quickmedia Receiver it using CAT5 back to the server room and connects to Crestron QM-MD8X8 8x8 Quickmedia Matrix Switcher is that correct?
On the conference room table we'll have Quickmedia Fliptop Computer Center Without Keypad. Black Anodized. Model #Crestron QM-FTCC-NB-B. How does this device tie into the network, does this also connect through CAT5 back to the server room?
I really appreciate anyone taking the time to answer my questions. I want to make sure I don't have to plug anything from the TV going through conduit to the Conference Room table where the Quickmedia Fliptop Computer Center is.
