Hi there,

I have finally been able to receive from the engineering dept the discrete codes for several commands on my new 42" AOC LCD TV. The problem I'm having is the translation of these codes into the Pront Edit SW. I did try to simply past them into the SET IR code window, but it returns with an error message "Data does not define a valid IR code". I have also learned the Power button using the remote that came with the TV (it only has a single power button).

Here's the learned power button code:

0000 006c 0006 0000 0155 0057 0015 0e5f 0155 0056 0015 0e5f 0155 0056 0015 0057

Here's what the eng. dept have provided me:

Power on
57 D6 00 01 FF FF 2C
Assert
57 D1 00 01 FF FF 27

Power off
57 D6 00 00 FF FF 2B
Assert
57 D1 00 00 FF FF 26

TV
57 E4 E0 22 FF FF 3B
Assert
57 D2 22 00 FF FF 49

AV1
57 E4 E0 25 FF FF 3E
Assert
57 D2 25 00 FF FF 4C

AV2
57 E4 E0 45 FF FF 5E
Assert
57 D2 46 00 FF FF 6D

S-Video1
57 E4 E0 26 FF FF 3F
Assert
57 D2 26 00 FF FF 4D

S-Video2
57 E4 E0 46 FF FF 5F
Assert
57 D2 45 00 FF FF 6C

Comp
57 E4 E0 27 FF FF 40
Assert
57 D2 27 00 FF FF 4E

HDMI 1
57 E4 E0 23 FF FF 3C
Assert
57 D2 23 00 FF FF 4A

HDMI 2
57 E4 E0 24 FF FF 3D
Assert
57 D2 24 00 FF FF 4B

VGA
57 E4 E0 21 FF FF 3A
Assert
57 D2 21 00 FF FF 48

According to them, the Assert code is what the TV responds if the code has been successfuly processed, but I don't think I'll need it.

Any clues would be appreciated.
thanks
