Hi there,

I'm new to remote control and have been soaking up the info here. Great stuff!

I see a lot of informal talk about IRL file formats but have not found an "official" spec.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Also - The VERT program's documentation says it can "clean up" a file,
but doesn't explain why cleaning might be necessary, or what is accomplished.
Any ideas?
